About HWCWMA

HWCWMA is dedicated to the management and control of noxious and invasive weeds within the Humboldt River Watershed Area.

HWCWMA is a collective group of individuals, state and federal agencies, municipalities, and community organizations who have come together to combat invasive species in Elko, Eureka, Lander, Humboldt and Pershing counties in Nevada.

HWCWMA serves as a forum to share information and resources, collaborate on planning, and cooperate on invasive species management in northern Nevada.

HWCWMA works to secure financial assistance that can be shared with landowners and managers working to combat noxious weeds.  From monetary backing to technical assistance, we can provide the needed support.

HWCWMA assists with herbicide application projects, restorative seeding, or even stream bank stabilization projects that help reduce erosion and improve water quality.
